Tony Lavorgne, Host

Specializing in obscure paranormal and anthropological topics, Tony Lavorgne is an accomplished researcher, author, and public speaker on the subject of local legends and lore throughout Western Pennsylvania, Northern West Virginia, and Eastern Ohio.  He is a contributing writer to Supernatural Lore of Pennsylvania: Ghosts, Monsters and Miracles and co-author of Haunted Roads of Western Pennsylvania.

Tony is also the host of Tony Lavorgne’s Legends and Lore Podcast, produced by The Social Voice Project.

Thomas White, Special Guest

Thomas White is the university archivist and curator of special collections in the Gumberg Library at Duquesne University. He is also an adjunct lecturer in Duquesne’s history department and an adjunct professor of history at La Roche College. White received a master’s degree in public history from Duquesne University. Besides the folklore and history of Pennsylvania, his areas of interest include public history and American cultural history. He is the award winning author of several books, including Legends and Lore of Western Pennsylvania; Forgotten Tales of Pennsylvania; Ghosts of Southwestern Pennsylvania;  Supernatural Lore of Pennsylvania: Ghosts, Monsters and Miracles (editor); Witches of Pennsylvania: Occult History and Lore; and Haunted Roads of Western Pennsylvania (co-authored with Tony Lavorgne).
