The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection is considering a water permit application for Shell’s massive ethane cracker petrochemical facility in Beaver County. Shell is trying to leverage an old, less stringent water permit for use with their brand new facility. Please contact the PA DEP to let them know that this is not acceptable! Shell must re-apply for a new permit for their new facility!
