Big Beaver Borough’s Veterans Memorial was dedicated in November, 1995, thanks to all the hard work of the Memorial Committee. The Memorial was dedicated to all the area residents who served their country in the armed forces.

Daniel Cunning, Big Beaver’s first Mayor, wanted to use the stones from the foundation of his barn for the monument. Eventually Ruth Cunning, Daniel’s wife donated the barn stones to the Borough. When the Memorial Committee received state and federal grants, construction began. The memorial includes park benches, walkways, a small park space and the monument itself. It sits in front of the Borough’s Municipal Building.

Aliquippa station is a former railway station located in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, United States. The station was constructed and used by the now defunct Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad. Constructed in 1911, the station has also gone by the name of Woodlawn station because of the former town of Woodlawn that was merged with Aliquippa in the late 1870s. After the station closed to passengers, it was used for several years by the Jones and Laughlin Steel Company as an office building. Today, the structure sits vacant just outside the city of Aliquippa. The station was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990 as the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Passenger Station, Aliquippa.

Architectural style: Late 19th and 20th Century Revivals, Renaissance revival. The B.F. Jones Memorial Library is a historic library in Aliquippa, a city in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, United States. Named for steel tycoon Benjamin Franklin Jones, it was built in 1927 with money donated by Jones' daughter. As a product of the profits of the Jones and Laughlin Steel Company, for which Aliquippa was a company town, it resembled a Carnegie library. Rated a high-quality example of small-scale Renaissance Revival architecture, the two-story library is built primarily of Indiana Limestone with a bronze roof. Among its leading features are multiple plaster casts, windows of stained glass, carvings in imitation of those made by Italian sculptor Andrea della Robbia, and a large statue of Jones. In 1978, the library was added to the National Register of Historic Places for its architecture and for its association with Jones in the development of Aliquippa. The library continues in operation to the present day.

"On the wall of The Tax Place you will clearly be able to see a new mural I designed in Beaver Falls across the street from Oram's Donuts. The design reads “Where Dreams Take Flight” and was inspired by my daughter where she envisioned a giant bird (Peacock) flapping its wings over many children where they played in the wind it created. The children in the mural are actual residents of Beaver Falls. This mural was a community effort and made possible by “The Tax Place” for letting us use their wall and other private donors who helped with monetary assistance. Thanks to the Beaver Falls CDC - Community Development Corporation for setting this up. Thanks to my friend Luke Depaola for providing assistance with the mounting process and lots of patience. Erected as Beaver County's first library building, it was financed by Andrew Carnegie and designed by a leading Pittsburgh architect in grand architectural style that helped to redefine the image of the typical Carnegie library. Numerous community organizations have used its space, which remains in continued use as a library, and it has been named a historic site. The building gained much wider recognition in 1985, when it was added to the National Register of Historic Places; it qualified both because of its architecture and because of its place in local history. One of twenty such locations in Beaver County, it is the only one in Beaver Falls.[1] It continues to be used as a library, although the institution is now part of a larger library system serving the entire county.

The Greersburg Academy was an institution established by Reverend Thomas Hughes in Darlington, Pennsylvania, United States, in 1802.The academy was created as a "prep" school for college. Classes included languages, philosophy, and astronomy. The stone structure was built around 1806 making it one of the oldest buildings still standing in Beaver County. Though it was originally built as a school, the structure functioned as a railway station for a time, serving several railroads between 1883 and 1972. The structure is one of the oldest structures to have ever been used as a station. Notable alumni of the school were abolitionist John Brown,[5] Walter Forward, John White Geary, Daniel Leasure, William Holmes McGuffey. The Little Beaver Historical Society currently maintains the structure.

The Lady Slippers’ group commissioned local artist Christopher Leeper to do the mural, tracing the area’s rich pottery history from James Bennett, who brought the first commercial pottery to the area to the more modern day Fiestaware located across the Ohio River in West Virginia. Saturday’s visitors were invited to attend art shows by Leeper at the museum and multiple local artists at the Venture Real Estate building, and a celebratory pop-up party was set for 7 p.m. the same evening by the parking lot.
