Vince Ventura
Vince Ventura has served as artistic director of 12 Peers Theater for the past eight years. He has directed for 12 Peers Theater (Everybody by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, Stupid Fucking Bird by Aaron Posner, Mr. Burns, a post electric play by Anne Washburn, Detroit by Lisa D’Amour, The Birds by Conor McPherson, The Weird by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Talk About the Passion by Graham Farrow, SUSTENANCE by James Roday, and Colorado by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb). He has also directed for Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre’s Theatre Festival in Black and White (Doo Rag, In My Sistah’s Closet, and We Need a Ramadan), where he won the 2010 Best Director Award and was nominated for the 2011 Best Director Award, and South Park Theatre (Pine, 13th of Paris, Vintage Hitchcock, and The Stranger). Vince was a directing observer on The Night Alive at City Theatre and the assistant director of Brahman/i at Quantum Theatre.Kalee George
Kalee is this episode's co-host. She is a Pittsburgh native who has studied theatre at Niagara University, receiving a BFA in Theatre Performance with a minor in Theatre Design and Technology and a minor in English. She is a multifaceted performer, director, and multi-instrumentalist.
As director, Kalee has collaborated with TSVP on three radio theater productions: It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, The Shadow in Death House Rescue, and A Very Covid Christmas: A Radio Play in 3 Acts.TSVP’s Radio Theater Podcast presents classic, contemporary, and original imaginative audio productions, including recorded, staged, and live streamed performances before live audiences. In addition to showcasing performances, the podcast is dedicated to promoting and celebrating the craft of local theater.
